Vin Diesel loves his fans. How do we know this? 'Cause he consistently keeps 'em updated about projects on his Facebook page. How do you get to 40-million friends? Be a bad to the ass action hero like Vin Diesel.
Case in point, the trailer for his much-anticipated Riddick. The threequel sees Diesel back in the saddle as antihero Richard B. Riddick. This flick, which is again written and directed by David Twohy, is supposed to harken back to Pitch Black and shed the much larger universe presented in Chronicles of Riddick.
Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick finds himself up against an alien race of predators. Activating an emergency beacon alerts two ships: one carrying a new breed of mercenary, the other captained by a man from Riddick's past.
Riddick returns to theatres Sept. 6.
