Continuing The Basement's summer special tradition, we've got two -- count 'em two -- reviews lined up for our June Special, and they couldn't be more diverse.
First up is The Giant Spider, the latest from the Dean of Mihmiversity, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm. Once again it's a loving throwback to the drive-in terror films of the 1950s. And it stars past Basement guest Shannon McDonough!
Then, submitted by writer/director Billy "Bloody Bill" Pon, it's the horror short film Doll Boy. Who is Doll Boy? Well, he's got the heart of a child . . . in a jar next to his bed. 'Nuff said.
Our June Special also includes an important announcement about the future of The Basement. What's going on? Are Jason and Shawn done? Did the Mayans get it wrong and the world is coming to an end in mid 2013?
Stick with us!
The June Special lands on podOmatic, iTunes, our Facebook group and fan pages and right here in The Basement by 8 a.m. pacific on June 28.
