Found footage blah, blah, blah. End of rant. Otherwise this trailer for the upcoming time-travel flick Welcome to Yesterday doesn't look half bad.
The film does give off a Chronicle kind of vibe, but at least director Dean Israelite's first feature harkens back to a decent movie, one that played with similar themes of with great power comes great responsibility.
The official synopsis: a group of high schoolers invent a time machine and record their trips into the past. Things go south from there . . . because they always do. For evidence of this, scope out the trailer:
Welcome to Yesterday stars Jonny Weston, Ginny Gardner, Sam Lerner, and Allen Evangelista. It opens Feb. 28.
