There's three reasons why Basementites should get excited about Daylight's End. The action/horror flick is directed by William Kaufman and stars Johnny Strong. That's right, the duo that made Sinners and Saints, one of the best action movies of the last couple of decades.
It also stars Lance Henriksen, who is reason enough to watch anything, in my biased opinion.
Kaufman posted a sneak preview for the flick on his Facebook page, and the movie looks pretty damn good. Given how much Shawn and I enjoyed Sinners and Saints, our anticipation level is high for this one.
But don't take my word for it, give it a watch and decide for yourselves. We're unable to post the video here due to privacy settings, which we respect. So you gotta click on that link.
Years after a mysterious plague has devastated the planet and turned most of humanity into blood-hungry creatures, a rogue drifter on a vengeful hunt stumbles across a band of survivors in an abandoned police station and reluctantly agrees to try to help them defend themselves and escape to the sanctuary they so desperately need.
No word yet on when Daylight's End hits theatres, but believe me when I say to you The Basement will keep you posted.
