A quick update this Friday afternoon to bring you up to speed on our triumphant return to 92.5 FM CFBX Kamloops, which is coming pretty dang quick!
I said dang so I can get used to adhering to CRTC rules again. THAT will take some retraining!
Anyway, first-run episodes of We Came from the Basement begin airing on The X on Thursday, March 3 at 11 p.m. PST. And they will continue every second Thursday, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel. Podcast versions appear on the Friday.
Second-run episodes broadcast Sunday and Monday nights at 11 p.m.
Our first episode back is shaping up nicely, as we've got writer/director/producer Matthew Sconce joining Shawn, Amy and I for the hour. He's the man behind the upcoming Altar and other genre flicks like Stricken and Sleeper.
An avid martial artist, Matthew will talk favourite movie fights with The Basement crew, in addition to shedding some light on his career and the filmmaking process. It'll be great, because how could it not be. Not a question, a statement.
And, for our second episode, it looks like Tracey Birdsall of Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, Starship: Apocalypse and the TV soap opera Loving will stop by.
So, you know, stick with us!
