Anyway, the flick is playing to acclaim in the festival circuit, and we're happy to hear that. We're also happy to hear that Brooke continues to champion the fight against breast cancer, which is a passion project close to her heart.
She and Killer Rack director Gregory Lamberson have partnered with The Lynn Sage Foundation to raise money for breast cancer research. The production has created stickers showcasing the flick's Killer Rack logo and is selling them for $3, with all the profits going to Lynn Sage.
The Lynn Sage Foundation was founded by sisters Laura and Halee Sage after losing their mother, Lynn, to breast cancer. She was 39 years old. The foundation raises more than $300,000 annually to support The Lynn Sage Scholars program, founding some of the most promising researchers in the field of breast cancer in the United States.
Breast cancer is serious business, and has touched my family personally. This is a cause The Basement backs Brooke with 100 per cent!
